Aaaanddd we're back!

look right---> ITS A CBOX! please drop a message if you visit.
now back into "study mode" =/
certainly no fun, and probably weeks behind everyone else but whatever. I'll try to manage.
School has never been better, so whoopee! Stuff's not tough and for once I don't feel left behind!
Cabaret is in a week; cabaret nights suck now :( I remember how they used to be full long tables and food and drinks and everything, like a real cabaret show, and you'd get real mad acts like Jean singing (which is always good) and Danny Ma doing shizz, and stage band was craazzyy good back then! But now its just.. yeah. Not to say the acts aren't great, perhaps the night's just lacking student support.

anyway, seeing as school/social media is rife with body image/gym talk, i'd like to add my two cents.
1. Squat.
2. Deadlift, Push something heavy over your head, and row.
3. "I don't want to look like a bodybuilder :(" is quite a silly excuse. It takes forever to get big. And look at say.. Ana Ivanovic or Lance Armstrong who lift heavy and certainly don't look like bodybuilders.
4. Lifting is a great way to keep fit and keep fat off. 'Toning' by itself doesn't exist, it comes as the cumulative effects of gaining mass and losing fat.
5. Eat well. 'try' to keep crap out of your diet.

Had a sesame, white chocolate, and wait for it.... A KIWI macaron yesterday, courtesy of Bryan. :) greatest chef in 12m5. and possibly yr12. They were freakin delicious and looked real good too. You've probably seen them on fb, and hopefully you'd agree!

Today + yesterday were quite bludgy days. Nothing too much to say. Pass out parade was pretty cool, the drummers anyway. And i think the Pastor dude made a nice speech which I'm sure almost anyone could take something away from.. for me it was the idea of servant leadership. Reminds me of how one of my bball coaches once said that whenever something goes wrong (on the bball court), stick your hand up and take responsibility for it, even if you weren't at fault. Though the teammates/players/people on court/around you mightnt realise that it actually wasn't your fault and will give you crap or maybe even lose a bit of confidence in you, but won't beat themselves up about it and not lose confidence in themselves, as tends to happen when you make mistakes sometimes. The coach, the outsider, however, sees it all and understands you weren't at fault. I quite like that advice.

Ok , need to find a baby photo now.. D:
