hello

祝您新年快乐,万事如意! Saya mengucapkan Selamat Tahun Baru Cina/Kongsi Raya dan selamat berjaya dan selamat berbahagia dan kepada anda dan keluarga anda. happy chinese new year! that should almost cover everyone, stupid blogwalkers included. though thats not the only reason its up there (hi tan shiyi/ neo yee jing) Wishing all individuals and families a healthy safe and prosperous new year of the dragon! Hope you spent it with family and friends and whatnot having huge feasts and firecrackers and ang pow and the like. Mine was spent at home/school with a good homely meal (definitely not a feast by any account) and a lot of bak kwa courtesy of that shop in eastwood arcade. I miss the bee cheng hiang though. I remember about a year ago at school we were celebrating chinese new year. was quite a sight to see the lanterns adorn the quad, (also remember dancing to "Accidentally in Love under those, in prep for v-day assembly... ahh memories) and ang pow and asian ricebowl mags and lucky candy wrappers everywhere... then we had that ice fight which in hindsight was stupid because we could have made more slushies. Roy greeting the entire school in fluent chinese was another memorable moment. Haha even though i've graduated I still can't escape school; I'm a JRAHS employee. Kinda odd jobs here and there, mostly confined to music room but theres a lot of other work involved. Working a bit with Mr Kerr aka Jumpsuit Guy who has the coolest bogan/nasal voice ever, and is very dry. I really wanted to do a moments of 2011 (in my mind) thingo just so i could look back on it later, but i really don't know what happened in 2011 bar sport and even then i'm really sketchy, and now doesn't really seem the time anyway. We're twenty something days into the new year already (or 1, hey its like a second chance for new year resolutions that have crashed already) but 2011 seems like old news already. kind of want to be a bit out and about more, like the friday food court raids of old. Went down again, and had satay skewers with lontong for $7 - a good feed. I am an advocate of food court eating, and will stick by it as first choice for any occasion, EVEN fancy dates. Okay so maybe it isnt fancy date atmosphere, just make up for it afterwards with some really cheesy sentimental activity i.e. sitting at the harbour and staring at water at night. skulduggery pleasant is soooo coool 8D
