day 16 - A Song That You Used To Love But Now Hate
The last movie I watched with my childhood best friend was Spongebob Squarepants. After we left the cinema, we would not stop quoting the movie. And to this day, theres so much we talk about from it. Every time someone says "I'm ready" we must reply "promotion" and stuffs like that. And for a while, we just loved and would not stop raving about :

cannot be embedded, sorry. but thats ok, the song for me is irritating now. Music video is grand though!!
and its aannnoying to play on Guitar Hero!
OK! ALSO
When lifting, why do curls and side raises and the like? Sure it'll make you look good, but get strong first! Presses of all kinds, rows, deadlifts, squats, pullups and Cleans! Mighn't look butch or manly in the weight room, but freak do they get you strong AND a little bigger. In fact, a dead / squat would work everything under your neck, and isnt that all you need? (Who wants huge heads.)
Chicken leg syndrome is absolutely hilarious also. Good on you for puffing up your top half, but boy will she be disappointed when the pants come off!! (Im assuming girls will never read this, or anyone for this matter lol) Mate your legs make up more of your body that your top half does! Work on that. How in the world are your beanpoles going to support all that?
Also, how in the world is lifting going to get you shorter or stunt you? What is it that grows your bones? calcium and genetics, isnt it? so long as your growth plates stay healthy you're good! Lift now, take advantage of your body's growth process, + you look good in a suit!
I don't have time? Well take up lifting in your down time, do presses when your dumping or smth. There's always time. I gave up sitting in front of my computer unneccesarily to lift.
Its gna make me buff overnight! It takes yeaaaaaaarrrrrssssss + very good eating
I might hurt myself - very true. There are very experienced and qualified people always willing to help you; try pcyc gyms (i.e. burwood) or crossfit centres. I learnt to clean at some rock climbing centre we once went to for PE lol.
and when you see some form of result whether it be visual or numerical, its encouraging! and you want to keep going.
I mightn't have the buffness to show after two years of lifting but i can both clean and press my bodyweight and then some, I deadlift a decent 180kg. Try that, bro curlers!
When you see other people progress with their lifting, it is wonderous.
I have a good friend who this year got really interested in lifting and has been. He knows that he is genetically predisposed to have a softer body, and some other health problems, and he wants to do something about it! So his lifting journey began. Compounds only, ramping up the poundage every session where possible. And it has only been 4 months but he has solidified a bit. his numbers have shot up well. After a extra-curricular-induced-hiatus (one he is very dedicated to), which he beat himself up about, he is right back into it! he will be a far better lifter than i will be, because of his work ethic; itll take him to great heights. He understands tough love, he takes criticism because he wants to improve. And he has spread this lifting wisdom to his family, because he wants to see their lifestyle improve. Mr Nash-Frye-Gortat you are a good man.
